Quick Fix for Quick Settings

Project Status: Solved

Update December 1, 2014:
This has finally been fixed with the many updates to the notification panel in Android 5.0, the Lollipop release. Thank you Google.

Original Post:
Android's notification bar, or "notification shade" as the android team calls it, is pretty helpful. An empty notification shade on the other hand, is about as useful as the points on Whose Line Is It Anyway. If you haven't watched the show, I can just tell you, the points are worthless.

I have found that the notification bar is an easy way to access the settings, via the quick settings menu, which is also pretty helpful. So in the case that there are no notifications, pulling down the notification bar should automatically populate with the quick settings menu.

It's an easy fix android, c'mon guys, let's do this.
